After pushing my vacation back multiple times for multiple reasons (boss scheduled vacation same week, job changes, etc.) we have decided to go in Decemeber :hyper: What we want to know is where we should stay. I want to stay somewhere with great holiday decorations. If anyone could give me their choice for value, moderate and deluxe, that would be awesome! We are buying a house and where we stay with depend on how much work we put into the new home.

TIA

We have stayed at 1 mod (CBR, which we loved) and all but 3 of the deluxes and our favorite resort during the holidays is the WL, followed by the GF and BC/YC/BWI. All of the resorts have beautiful decorations, but the WL is just amazing, IMO. Depending on when in December you go, you might be able to get a discount. The WL is a great deluxe close to MK without the hefty price tag like those of the monorail resorts. I can't comment on any of the values as we've never stayed at any of them. Good luck and happy planning.

YC/BC is my favorite Deluxe in the Epcot area and Grand Floridian is my fav at the Magic Kingdom area

Thanks for the thoughts! my husband likes Wilderness Lodge so maybe we will stay there.

We stayed at WL during the Christmas Season once and it was REALLY pretty. I would not hesitate to stay there at Christmas time again.

Wilderness Lodge. Not only is it GREAT in the cooler time of year, where the snap in the air matches the majestic vaulting lobby, but the holiday decorations are fabulous. Add to that quick transport to the Magic Kingdom, a good CS/snack location, two good restaurants and immersive landscaping, and you can't beat it for a truly memorable December stay!

Sounds like Wilderness Lodge is a clear winner her for the deluxe resorts :) My husband really likes it there and I think we will be taking my daddy so perhaps one of their suites will suit us. DH, I and the kids could stay in the master bedroom and dad could stay on the pull out. Of course we would bring a topper for him. He sleeps on the couch a lot anyways so I would think he'd be fine.
