Where To Stay?

Hi Everyone!

We are a family of 6 (me, hubby and 4 children 16,14,12 &3)....We taking a cruise in June and then plan on spending 3 nights in Orlando afterward. The kids want to visit WWHP.

I'd love some suggestions on where to stay....not too far from universal. We will be renting a car; so shuttles aren't a concern. I am looking forward to your input. Please tell me as much as you can about your pick...

Thanks for trying Vic, but we have sworn off Hampton Inns for a reason too long to explain since our kids were tots...I'll keep trying...I made ressies at Nick Suites, but I am having second thoughts as some of the reviews are terrible and it does look a little crazy over there...

Honestly, if you are doing Harry Potter, the only place to stay is at one of the Universal hotels, so that you can get in the park early. We just did the cruise and Universal about 2 weeks ago, and it took 2 early morning visits to do everything before the big crowds hit. The FOTL pass (does not work for Forbidden Journey) is really worth staying at these hotels. Just my two cents....
