My FIL is going to be taking us to Disneyworld this spring/summer. We will need 2 rooms, ideally connected or a suite type set up. It's DH & I and our 5 year old DD and FIL. FIL needs his own room at night or none of us will get any sleep (snores), and then another room for my family. Of course, we're looking for low cost and do not require on site accomodations. Any suggestions?

I would consider Pop at WDW. You can just keep watching for deals.

Consider any of the All Stars (can request connecting room although not guaranteed) for two rooms (can be as little as $49 a night depending on when you go). They also have small family suites for 5 in ASMu. Not sure if there is a connecting door that shuts or not (basically two rooms combined into one with a small sitting area).

If you can afford to go up to moderate try the CBR and again see if you can get two rooms together.

We rent 2-3 rooms at a time when we go and have always done the AS because we can not justify spending another $1,200 - $1,500 on rooms for 10 days.

Hope this helps! :)

I'm definitely a fan of the Pop Century. Though we stayed at the All-Star Sports for one week on our most recent trip and it was almost exactly the same. They are really a great value!

The Family Suites are at All Star Music Resort. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, tv, and door. There is a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and sink. There are two bathrooms. In the living area, there is a couch that pulls out and sleeps two, there is a chair that pulls out and sleeps one, and there is an ottoman that pulls out and sleeps one (I think that this bed is a little small). The living area also has a tv and a small table with two chairs.

If everyone wants to be in the same room, the Family Suite would work. You can request connecting rooms, but they aren't guaranteed. The Family Suite is a little more money than 2 rooms, but you do get the kitchenette features and guaranteed together.
