Where to stay?

Hi,

I am going to WDW in January for 4 days with friends who've never been to the World before. We will have 3 kids between the two families (1, 2, and 5). We have something planned in each park each day with early days in MK and Epcot. We are staying at the Beach Club resort as of now but i was wondering if that was really the best DVC to stay in or do you think I should try the Wilderness lodge instead? At first I thought the BCV would be the most convienent but now I am second guessing myself. Am I crazy? I really want them to have a nice trip w/o alot of hassle. What is everyone's opinion? Should I keep what i've got or try to change the ressie? Any advice is appreciated!

You're not going to go wrong with the BC. Yes WL would be nice because you're close to MK, but you are also spending time at Epcot & you can walk right in. Plus Stormalong Bay is so nice for the kids & the Boardwalk is great to walk around at night. I think you're fine right where you are!

I would stay put for such a short stay as well. Easy to get back and forth to 2 of the Parks . SAB can't be beat along the short walk over to the Boardwalk.

I would think the BCV pool would be so much fun for those ages of children.

There were very very few people in SAB this past week. We enjoyed the pools/slides mostly by ourselves last Sunday afternoon, the 16th. We had a great vacation, but if I were going again in the winter, (never really thought November would have the winter weather we experienced in WDW) I would have chosen VWL for the vacation.

Our DGC are 3,4, and 5 and this was their 4th WDW trip, and their first visits to Epcot and DHS. For them, it was worth it, but if I were bringing children who had never been to MK, well it would definitely be VWL for us. That's where we were for their first 3 trips. We had added on at BCV, and had banked points to use, that's why we booked and stayed at BCV.

We had ressie at BCV for this Feb but were notified that the main pool is having a major rehab. We booked there for the pool and have since changed to VWL.

Give them a call because it would be a big dissapointment to only look at the pool.
