Where To Stay?

Returned 2 weeks ago after a 3 day stay and like most of you, we are already deciding when to go back. Have been secretly looking at prices for November but DH doesn't know that yet!

Anyway, we stayed at DCR which was great as we were driving as we were going onto another part of France afterwards, but this time we are going to fly and stay for a bit longer as we found 3 days just wasn't long enough for us.

Now the thing is, I loved the fact that the DCR had seperate bedrooms, so the kids went in one and me & DH used the sofa bed in the living area (which was surprisingly very comfy), but am I right in thinking that none of the other hotels have the same sort of thing? I have read about adjoining rooms but am a bit clueless (and wary) of these.

I await your, as ever, informed and knowledgeable advice

Adjoining rooms are a great idea, but would be pricey as you have to buy two proper hotel rooms.

I always stay on site, but if you aren't too fussed about being onsite the marriot village looks lovely and has 2 bedroom places.

The Explorers hotel has crew rooms which you can add to your normal room - The normal rooms have a double bed and 2 singles and the crew room has bunkbeds. these can only be booked as add ons (not on their own). Apart from that I think it would be 2 adjoining rooms or all in one room

We stayed at the Santa Fe and had adjoining rooms - it was great to have so much extra space. We looked in to it again for next year and I think it was going to cost us an extra £80ish for a 3 night stay as you pay a supplement for single occupancy. The layout of the family rooms at Explorers looks really good too.

If this is the case, I would recommend the Marriott. I stayed there for a week in May. It was so good, I don't want to stay anywhere else when I go back for a week in October. Pity I don't have any 'free' rooms to claim!

Depending how old they are, and if you are comfortable with it, but there is always the Bunkbed option in the Cheyenne

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express near the airport which had two double beds. We only went to hotel about midnight each day so we really did not miss staying onsite.

what about an apartment @ val d'europe ?

my suite village,adagio city,Residhome etc

have a look on expedia http://www.expedia.co.uk/daily/shared/products/hotels/Result.aspx

although offsite its really only a few mins to the parks,we drove but there are regular shuttles or the train ,just one stop away from disney

it opens up the options a bit more and you have living space ,which i think is important if you have kids! and dont want to be on top of each other in one hotel room ! lol

I've booked - 4th til 8th Jan. Going to stay at the DCR again as we did like it and it was perfect for what we wanted. (and it worked out about £200 cheaper than the Explorers)

So this is a total secret that no-one will know about until Christmas day.

Good job I have you lot to tell as I am going to burst with excitement.
