We will be staying in our timeshare over thanksgiving week. But we have to check out on the saturday after thanksgiving. I need a room for that Saturday night and Sunday as we fly home on that Monday. (this is for 2008 by the way). I was thinking the Carribean Beach, Coronodo or Port Orleans. We have AAA and I also noticed that those particular days are listed in the Disney books at regular and value. There will be 5 of us also. 3 adults and 2 kids. Which one would you choose?

I was thinking my dh and I could share a bed and my mom and 8 year old in a bed and a rollaway for my 7 year old.

I saw some AAA rates around 116 a night but we would even pay the 150 a night rate that I saw in Birnbaums.

Advice? How soon could one book for next Thanksgiving?

TIA

Your only choice at the moderates is POR...they have a trundle room. They other mods do not have an option for a family of 5 unless you choose to book 2 rooms. We LOVE POR...it is beautiful and relaxing.

Disney does not offer the option of 5 in any of the moderates except Port Orleans Riverside.

You can also try a cabin at Fort Wilderness. They sleep 6 and the layout is more spacious than a regular room, and this way everyone gets a bed.

Well after looking at our options I think we are just going to get two rooms at Port Orleans or Pop. Thanks for the info! :)
