I know this is un-related to WDW but I was wondering if there is anyone who could help me out. I'm looking for someone from around the Harrisburg, PA area who could suggest a nice hotel thats not to expensive, and close to Hershey Park. My family is planning on a trip (short) in the end of June. We have always stayed at the Lodge, but with 2 trips to WDW planned for late summer and fall, we are un-able to afford the $300 it would cost :sad2:I'm thinking the campgrounds are my best bet but I'm unsure how my DW will handel "ROUGHING" it for 3 days in a tent :teeth: I was un-sure where to post this so if the Mod. needs to move it to another part of the boards go ahead. Thanks

We went to Hershey Park in 2001 and stayed at a Days Inn that had just been remodeled. It had a nice pool for the kids and was close enough to hershey park. I beleive we paid around $150 a night.

When I travel to Harrisburg for Business, I stay at the Wingate Inn, which is about twenty minutes away from Hershey Park. There is also a Holiday Inn Express in Elizabethtown, which is about 20 minutes away also.

If you need more help or information let me know, glad to help out if I can.

Day's Inn, Hershey. It's been a few years since we've stayed there, but at that time it was nice...clean and very close to Hersheypark. Have fun wherever you stay! Disboarder from Lancaster, PA
