We've always stayed at POFQ and loved it. Always building 4, right next to food court, parking and bus stop. But with that being out, where would you pick if you were bringing your MIL who has bad knees? I worry about the bigger resorts and getting stuck somewhere far away from everything. (We will be renting a scooter for her in the parks) This will be in Oct. and for DD's birthday and will be her first visit in over 20 years.

I have read about people renting scooters from an offsite service that ends up running about the same price or less for a week then parks only. They deliver. (May make getting on buses harder) If that wouldn't work for you I would either upgrade to one of the lower priced moderates (AKL or WL) or at the least put your room request based on a medical need. CBR probably has the most centrally located facilities. The Food court and main pool are close together, not sure about the bus stops. Next would be POR, their pool is somewhat separated from the food court. CSR would be the worst in this case because the main pool is very far away from the food "court". If you are not interested in the main pools it will be easier at any of the moderates to find a central location near a quiet pool and the food court. Enjoy!
