Help!!

This is our first time. Our kids are 7, 4 & 2. Am I understanding correctly that the youngest is still free? That opens up room possiblities.

We want to go only for 2 nights, the 31st and 1st, which is a big holiday here in France. The DLH and NY are full. We're being offered the NBR or the Sequoia.

Which one? Should we spring for a suite? Admiral's club or whatever?

I'm going a little nuts. Please throw up ideas.

TIA!

Hi Eclipsepearl and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

Both choice are good although from a theming point of view I'd go for Sequoia but I'm sure others will recommend NPB :)

Bonjour et bienvenu! :)

Can you tell us why the 1st November is a "big" holiday in France? I red on a french board that the 1st November is one of the crowdest days in DLRP! I wonder why???

Thanks for the welcome. You guys are an amazing fund of information.

Toussaint is Nov. 1st. It's tied to Halloween, in that the naughty spirits came out and disappeared on Nov. 1st, which means "All Saints" or "All Souls" Day. It's a day off but also a week and a half off for the kiddies. Add to that, the fact that the whole country has the same dates off. Most of the vacations are staggered as not to overwhelm the tourist industry.

I'm going to get dh to pay for the Admiral's club at NPB.

Thanks again!

P.S. There's an article on Expatia France about going to DLP for Halloween.

Welcome to the DIS Eclipsepearl

Both hotels are lovely, so you won't go wrong with either of them. Just depends which theme and decor you find more appealing. If you do go for the NPB Admiral's Floor, then the extra facilities are always nice. :)
