Hi All.

After almost falling asleep driving back to Manchester from the Eurostar terminal last time, we have decided to stay in or around Ashford the night before and the night we return to England.

This time, though, there are five of us travelling (me, DW, DD11, DD3, and DMIL62). I am struggling to find a hotel that can accommodate all of us in one room. I have thought about booking the Travelodge at Ashford Eureka Park and sneaking our extra person in, but am scared of being caught! :rotfl:

Do any of you guys know of a hotel that we could all stay in. If needs be, we will book two rooms at the Travelodge, just trying to keep the cost down wherever we can.

Thanks.

I think you'll struggle to find one room to accomodate you all. The Ashford Travel lodge is a good idea for the outward journey as you are close, but how about trying the Medway Travelodge for the journey home as it is much cheaper and not too far off the track (very close to M20) for £39.50 per night? Justa a thought.

When are you going? I'm looking for 2 rooms at the mo (there are 6 of us) for our April trip, and I can get Eureka Park for £22 per room. HTH.

We are staying at canterbury travelodge before and after the ferry. £19 for 4 of us.

There are 5 of us and the children are 11, 10 and 10 and we always manage to get in one room with a blow up bed

Normally the reception areas are busy enough not to notice who's coming and going, however even when we have been the only ones arriving I just go in and check in and then go back to the car and tell the others where to go and reception never say anything

Travelodge are normally okay with extra persons, long as your not deliberately flaunting the fact you have an extra!

You do at least have the benefit of having a toddler. so that should make fitting into a family room a bit easier! Though sounds like you might need a blow up bed or something.

Though I guess that depends on how your MIL feels about that idea ultimately. Personally I might spring for the extra room with the sale currently on - as buying an extra sleeping bed will be about the same price (and might ensure everyone sleeps a little better!)
