I am very excited to be planning another trip to Disneyland! This time will be incredibly special as my sister and her family will be joining me and three of my children. I have visited a number of times, so am familiar with how to navigate the parks, work the LL system etc. We also love to rope drop, so will take advantage of (hopefully) low crowds in the morning.
What I would love to know are specific tips for visiting late April. What should we expect with regards to crowd levels from Thursday April 24th to Monday April 27th? I am expecting there will be a Star Wars night on the Thursday and possibly the Sunday. Are Fantasmic and fireworks Friday through Sunday? Any rumours of rides going down for refurb then? Is the weather usually warm and dry? I do plan to book a WOC dessert party for my eldest and I, and the entire family will book a Fantasmic dining package one of the nights.
Our last trip was August 2024 when my two eldest (19 and 21 at the time) and I stayed for a week at GCH. This time I will have my 8 and 11 year old, in addition to my eldest, as well as my sister, her husband and their two boys ages 7 and 9.
We are traveling from Canada and will be staying at the HoJo. My sister and I stayed there many years ago when we first went to DL as kids, so we are looking forward to the nostalgia of staying there again. My family will likely do 4 or 5 day park hopper passes with LLMP and my sister will do 3-day park hoppers with LLMP.
Thanks everyone!
