Where to stay offsite?

We are planning a trip to Disneyland and sadly, we will not be staying onsite this time (previously we had stayed at the Paradise Pier and we loved it!) We are looking for a hotel within walking distance to the park and is clean, safe, and has a great pool since we plan to do pool time as a big part of our trip. Best recommendations? We are me, DH and DD (age 9).

Courtyard Marriott theme park entrance

We are at the Courtyard Mariott theme park entrance as we speak. Two adults, no kids, but we have really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very large and clean, and our resort view room gave us a perfect view of the fireworks! There is a water park including a pool and hot tub. It takes us about 10-15 minutes to walk to the security check so it’s not bad at all. A bit pricier than some of the other options but we are happy with our choice overall.

Agreed. I’m at the Marriott too and it is nice! I feel it’s closer than the Disneyland Hotel to the entrance of the parks even.

i have always stayed at the anaheim majestic garden hotel and i love that place. they have a free shuttle that drops you off and picks up every 30 mins near the security check. it's the only place i stay when staying overnight for disneyland. it's super reasonable.

Agree! Howard Johnson on Harbor...Premium room with a view of the park would be my recommendation. Kiddie pool is fun for the kids and the "normal" pool is a nice big one with lots of lounge chairs and landscaping.
