We are trying to stay at all the WDW resorts, not including DVC.

We have stayed at, in order if favorite in each category

Deluxe
Polynesian x2
Grand Floridian x2
Wilderness lodge x2
Animal kingdom lodge- just stayed- loved it, but far
Board walk

Moderate
Coronado spring
Port Orleans
Caribbean beach

Value
Pop
All star sports

We plan in going January 2015
When I graduate RN School

It me and my husband, no children :( not in the cards

We rope drop, come back nap, close park
We hop a lot

Our favorite parks in order
Magic Kingdom
EPCOT
Animal Kingdom
Hollywood studios

We are inviting any family and friends down, to enjoy, but that's not a factor.

If MK is your favourite park, you should definitely stay at the Contemporary.
The Beach Club would be a close second.

I agree with the pp that if MK is your favorite park, I'd try the CR. My second choice would be the YC or BC.

Agree with the others....Beach Club or Contemporary/Bay Lake Towers. We also enjoyed the privacy of the Fort Wilderness Cabins.

We really liked the Beach Resort especially the pool ! We like Epcot the best so we always stay in that area. If you like MK the best I would also suggest CR.

Thank you

The only reason we haven't stayed at the contemporary is that I really want a MK view, so kinda expensive. But I'm worth it ;)

Another vote for Bay Lake Towers.... We rented DVC points and fell in love with this place. Walk to MK is awesome. Poly was our fave before we stayed here.

I know a lot of people say BLT?

Why?

I understand the contemporary and think that works.

I guess I just don't under stand DVC properties and points.

Contemporary!

Theme Park View!

I haven't been, but if you want TPV, then you should spring for it. If you need to save a bit longer after graduation to stay at the CR the way you want to, then maybe it will be the perfect way to celebrate and spend your very first paychecks.

its a great place with awesome views. you get access to everything at cr but at cr you don't get access to blt amenities. i just like it which is why i suggested it. :)

Plus, if you rented points for a studio it would be WAY cheaper than booking CR through Disney!

Have you done both Port Orleans resorts? If not, I would try the one you haven't been to yet if you're taking a budget-conscious trip. We prefer POR over POFQ, but wouldn't hesitate to stay at POFQ. I know you said not including DVC, but I wouldn't rule out SSR or OKW. Though they seem remote, they can offer more space and are very pretty! Plus their proximity to DTD makes it an easy way to end the night there with a drink or a stroll.

We have stayed at PORFQ

I'm afraid of points, I like to book a package through Disney , hopper, magical express

We don't know budget yet
I've never looked at prices at contemporary yet

When I see "when I graduate from nursing school" I think if you can you should have an extra special trip. Are you familiar with Villas at GF? Because it is just opening there is some rooms available for cash reservations. The studio there is large. (BLT is our fav but the studio there is tiny, I would not recommend). The new villas have a stand up shower and the traditional tub/shower. There is also TV's built into the mirrors in the bathroom. It is priced close to GF regular rooms but it is brand spanking new!:yay:

I love cr too. Garden wing is a good option for the money but the tower TPV is priceless. :goodvibes

I liked YC more than BC . The darker colors and less children of YC appealed to us.

We are trying to stay at all too.i cant believe I am missing BWI?:confused3

I think that will be good for dh and I 'sans' children.

HAPPY Planning and congrats on upcoming graduation:cheer2:

Thank you!
I'm leaning right now towards
Contemporary with a theme park view!
I really like idea of monorail whipping through
