I was not sure where to post this. BUt we are taking a late night flight into Tampa to save some $$. VS flying into Orlando. We are looking at a Budget hotel but clean and nice. Any suggestions. This seems to have worked out better for us. We saved 116/person to fly in to Tampa X7 = $812 of savings!!:cool1:! This will go towards our rental and for our hotel stay. before Disney!
Any Tampa airport tips are welcome as well!

We stayed at 2 places... Marriott courtyard and Hilton garden inn both by the airport. We preferred Hilton garden inn, mainly because the AC in our room at courtyard was impossible to keep set at a comfortable temp, but the Hilton garden inn is also right across the highway.

Thanks for the input. We are unsure of what we will do. I am leaning towards staying around 140 for two rooms that includes breakfast. I know I could stay at Buena Vista Suites for a 2 bedroom for this price.

We are staying overnight in Tampa too because of the savings. I found a homewood suites 1 bedroom that gets good reviews. It is the one on Avion Park Drive, close to the airport. I am using hilton points too, so that was another bonus for us!

I looked at Homewood suites. Looks nice, But for a 2 bedroom it is 250.00 ouch. Even if we get 2 rooms not much of savings.

I suggest using Priceline, since you have a cost in mind and the quality of the hotel (star level) you desire.

This is why I signed up for the Hyatt credit card by Chase. The signup bonus was two free nights after $1,000 spend on the card (on normal bills/groceries/gas/etc), and it provides a continuing benefit of one free night per year (but has a $75 annual fee). I figure we would use the night each year as you do, and it only costs $75 (annual fee) all in, which is a good deal especially at MCO.
