Where to stay for our last night? Hojo? Carousel? Desert Inn?

We're spending our first three nights at DLH. :cool1: Staying there is a real treat for us as it usually wouldn't be in our budget! We're spending our last night somewhere cheaper, but want it to be walking distance. We also don't want to stay somewhere that will seem totally blah after 3 days in a Disney hotel. It doesn't have to be as nice as Disney, but it would be nice if it weren't totally bargain basement either.

Hojo does not have the entertainment card deal while we're there so the there isn't too much difference in price between the three, though the Carousel is a bit more. I looked at the Best Western PPI too. Any thoughts?

If they don't have the Ent Rate I'd stay closer. BUT I really think the HoJo is nicer than the BWPPI or any other hotel that's closer. Altho I have not stayed at the Carousel. :)

We're staying at the Desert Inn at the end of April. The Hojo isn't having the Entertainment Rate for that week and the Desert Inn was much cheaper.

That's so interesting! We're going at the beginning of April and Hojo is actually a few dollars cheaper than the Dessert Inn. It's all a matter of timing, I guess!

are you looking on expedia or the disney website, or the direct hotel website? I think expedia offers great deals, I usually use their website rather than disney's good neighbor one.....or even Get away today. com usually has great deals. I saw the HOJO for $99.00 on expedia...but I don't know what your travel dates are?

Just because they don't have the entertainment rate now, doesn't necessarily mean that they won't have it! I booked our hotel back in August and by the time we got there in Feb, all of our nights were entertainment book rated.... that doesn't sound right but you know what I mean!

I've been looking at the actual Hotel websites. We got a AAA rate at Hojo and Carousel, but not Desert Inn (couldn't see that they had a AAA rate on their site :confused3 ) so that may be why they're ending up to be pretty similar.

I do keep checking to see if Hojo is going to add days. :thumbsup2

I stayed at Hojo for a few nights and the service and the rooms are fabulous. Loved staying there. I would recommend to anyone.
