Hi everyone - I need some opinions please! We need a room for one night, October 8th a Saturday. We'll be at WDW beginning that Wed at OKW but are leaving early Sunday morning and wanted to stay somewhere that cost less for Saturday night. We considered the value resorts but the best deal we got there was $84/night. We have a car, an AP, and AAA. Any suggestions? Any recommendations in the DTD area or does hotwire or anything give good deals? Also, is there a way to get a good deal on AKL/savannah view for one night?

Thanks!!

I always heard that the Days in in Lake Buena Vista was a clean reasonably priced place to stay. A lot of folks I know stay there arrival night before they check into the resorts. Have a great trip.

Mary on mousesavers.com has some deals on area hotels. Another option is priiceline.

Personally, I'd go with the valur resort before the Day's Inn.

herc.

We booked our first night (sept. 15) at the Radisson Resort Parkway for $59. It looks like a great hotel and the reviews were good, plus we're only staying there for a few hours. I decided between the Radisson and the Double Tree based on the water slide. My DD6 loves water slides! The special rate is good through Sept. but they probably have a similar price in Oct. Have a great time!

(saw it on mousesavers.com and allearsnet.com)

5 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

I checked your date on Hotwire...nothing very impressive showed up. If you are willing to take a chence on Priceline it looks like the Hilton in DTD has been coming up around $65/night for dates around yours (resort in WDW area) and the Sheraton Safari has been showing up in the upper $40's and low $50's for similar dates as a 3* property in the WDW area.

If you are flying out on Sunday AM you might want to check out the hotels near the airport....they offer free shuttle service so you could return your rental car early...and they generally offer much nicer rooms at lower prices than the hotels near WDW.

Thanks - We decided we're going to go somewhere closer to the airport. I'll check Priceline and Hotwire for that. Even w/a 25% discount OKW is close to $200 for a studio so we're going to pass on that.

Thanks for your help!

A bid of $42 to 50 usually will get a 3* property in the MCO area on Priceline....all of those hotels are quite nice.

Good Luck!!
