Where to Stay for Long Weekend

I'm in the process of planning a long weekend and was wondering where to stay. I'm planning on a week long trip in October and have narrowed it down to either the Wilderness Lodge or Port Orleans French Quarter.

If you had a long weekend, which of these would you stay and why?

We've stayed at Coronado Springs for long weekends on a couple of occassions and it was a great choice. The convention crowds aren't there on the weekend. CS gets my vote. Great food choices, a GREAT pool for a moderate resort and the lake/boats are a nice plus. Kind of removed from the parks too and that's a plus for us.

the Poly. Main reason is because it's my favorite resort. But here's my rationale that goes beyond that. You're doing a moderate resort in October for a week. For a long weekend, why not treat yourself to a deluxe resort with easy access via a monorail. It'll make for a relaxing, special little weekend.
