Hi... I am trying to check prices and books flights for a trip in May. On the flight going down it does not arrive until 8:40 pm in Orlando. I do not want to pay for a full day of "Disney" when we are getting there so late. Has anyone else stayed somewhere else and then transferred over to Disney the next morning? Where and How hard is this with luggage and transportation? Any help would be appreciated :confused3: THANKS!!!

Last year our flight got in at 11pm and we were staying at POFQ. We ended up staying at All Star Music for the 1st night and then made the move the next day. The prices for the offsite resorts was so close we decided to stay at the Disney value the 1st night. (Then they would have moved our bags for us over to POFQ if we wanted them too) we would have had them move our bags if we didn't have a rental car.

You could stay at MCO hotel. And take their free shuttle to and from the airport. Then take ME the next day. But you have to be in charge of your luggage.

THANK YOU... Not sure why I didn't think of that. By staying at a Value on Disney property you can go ahead and take ME. If the Value will transport our luggage to CSR the next morning so we could go ahead and hit the parks early. I appreciate your help :)

We've stayed at the Hyatt, we've stayed at a lower-priced Disney resort.

Nowadays...we just stay at "our" resort. There's something very valuable about being there, not having to move, not having to pack a smaller bag for that night and day that then has to be packed back up, etc. (of course you want to do that anyway in case luggage gets lost but it still feels different) Depending on the price difference between the value and CSR during your trip, it might just not be truly worth it to move.

And yes, they will move your bags for you. You will not see them at all until AFTER official checkin time, and you have to be in your room for them to be delivered after calling to have them delivered.

All stars are right by CSR. One of you mite have to go over to CSR to check in the next morning to get your park tickets if they are a part of a package?? ( If you dont need the tickets don;t have to worriy about that part and can check in later) But if you do it is prob a $5 or less taxi ride from all star to CSR. Then you can just meet at the park you are going to that morning and Disney will move your bags. One can take the Taxi to CSR and the other waits at the room for bell services to pickup your pages to be moved. (Hope that makes sence?):goodvibes
