I am debating between boardwalk, beach club or swan/dolphin.
Anyone have any opinions/pros/cons.

Thanks

While I like all 4 choices, there are a couple of things that might put the Boardwalk / Beach Club at the top of your list. The BWI and/or BC offer free airport transportation via DME, and the ability to charge to your MB across all the Disney locations on property.

However if price is key to your decision, the Swan / Dolphin often offer lower prices to stay in the same Epcot area as the Disney owned resorts.

All things being equal, we prefer the Boardwalk for the ambience. Beach Club would be our second choice. We do like Swan/Dolphin (we prefer the Swan), but only stay there if we've missed out on WDW discounts and Swan/Dolphin prices out substantially lower. When pricing out Swan/Dolphin, make sure to include the nightly resort fee plus any needed airport transportation.

In addition to what the others have said, here are my couple of things to consider:
1. Fantasia mini-golf is even closer if you stay at the S/D.
2. S/D has some pretty decent quick service places and their food quality has been better than Disney's, IMO.

Happy planning!

Honestly, especially with the ages of your children, you can't go wrong with any of them. BC will get you super close to EP. BWI is slightly further from EP, but closer to the DHS walking path. Swan/Dolphin is the first stop on the boat coming from DHS and last stop on the way there, so that's convenient as well. They all have great pools (yes, we even like the clown slide at BWI!). BWI has great entertainment at night, but you can certainly walk there from any of the other resorts to enjoy the shows. Maybe look at some youtube videos and see which appeals to your family most!

2 adults; 2 kids both 8, either sept 28, nov 9, or dec 7 arrivAl, not sure yet
Assuming your kids want to swim you really can't beat BC pool. It's the best on property hands down. The Swan/Dolphin also has a great pool however, keep in mind with Swalphin you won't get DME to and from the airport so there is an additional cost to consider.

For September I say BC for the pool, for Nov or Dec I say BW because I like that resort a little better than the BC and it's less likely to be as hot so the pool isn't as much a factor. However, if it is hot and you want to swim the BW has a perfectly nice pool, just not the same as SAB. Personally I would always choose a Disney resort over the S/D, but I would be perfectly happy in them if that's what worked out for a particular trip or if the price was right.

It wasn't in your poll, but I would pick the YC over the BC and then use time of year and price to choose between it and BW.
