Where to stay before cruise??

My friends are going on a cruise and have asked me where to stay the day before their cruise. They will be arriving by towncar so they want a shuttle to the port. What is a nice hotel but not too $$$?

He goes over the pros and cons to every nearby resort and I found it to be a great reference when deciding where to stay...

We had ressies at the Radisson, which seemed nice enough by the lobby, but that is all we saw due to Hurricane Jeanne! We didn't get to stay there, but I know others have had a good stay there.

We are cruising 2/5/05 we have resv @ Raddison . We will give report after our stay

We stayed at the Raddison last time and are booked in there again this time. We really loved the pool there! The only downside was parking was tight, we ended up parking out in a dirt field out back but this time we won't have a car so it doesn't matter..
