Looking for an opinion as to where to stay. Driving down to Florida for the land and sea package on March 6/2003 and have a choice between staying at the Port Orleans or the Carribean Beach . Also am booked in Cabin 6089. Travelling with DM and DD 7 1/2 years old .

Any comments or opinions on the Hotels or the cabin would be greatly appreciated

As a WDW Annual Passholder and regular visitor I would reccomend Port Orleans. The atmosphere is great and a lot of fun!

We stayed at Port Orleans on our trip and had a blast! I've never stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort, but it looked pretty nice too the couple times we've been through there (we like to go resort hopping just to see what the others look like.) Our favorite thing about Port Orleans though was the boats to and from Downtown Disney (that and it had beautiful grounds.) After a night over there, it was kind of romantic to take the slow little boat ride back to our resort.

If money was no object I'd love to stay at the Beach and Yacht Club, but since it is, I'll have to 'settle' for either the moderate resorts or the campgrounds at Fort Wilderness.

we liked Port Orleans much better. CBR is spread out and is sometimes quite a hike over to the food court. Rooms are basically the same just a different atmosphere.
