Hubby and I are taking a break from Disney and want to do our first ever trip to Universal. I called for a price quote for Cabaña with the Flex ticket to both the Universal parks, SeaWorld, and two water parks. We can really do without the water parks, the pool will be just fine for is. What do I need to know before making my reservations? we are looking for a week in October while it is still warm enough to enjoy the pool and hopefully after some of the heat and humidity is more tolerable. Any info will be appreciated.

I think your first move would be to check out the Universal website to see the park layouts and to learn more about the attractions available. October weather is anyone's guess. Some days it feel like summer and other days its very pleasant. Check the forecast a couple of days before your trip and pack accordingly. And please check local websites not national sites. Local meteorologists have a hard enough time guessing what the weather is going to be day to day much less a national site.

October is when Halloween Horror Nights at the Studios is in full swing and the Studios park will close early at 5pm on event nights. Make sure you check your dates to see which nights HHN will be staged.

Come back and ask any specific questions you have.

If you are not doing the waterparks, I would price out UO and SW tix separately and see if you could save money on the flex ticket.
