Where to start with domestic adoptions?

My DH and I have suffered 4 early pg. losses in the last 14 months, and to be honest, I am fed up. I am going through testing right now, but just am scared to even try again. We are talking about adopting. We know that there is a child for us in this world, be it through my own pregnancy, or another woman's. But, we just do not know where to start! We would like to do domestic. Anyone have any advice? Maybe some websites I can request information from??

Since I am adopted, I can assure you that by adopting, you will get a wonderful child I never caused my parents any grief or anything. Of course, no one is allowed to ask them to verify this
