Where would you stand to see the new night show at US if you didn't want to be in the thickest part of the crowd? At Epcot to see Illuminations I like to be away from the heaviest crowd even though it may not be the best view. I get really uneasy when people are packed in together so tight that you feel like you can't move or breath.

This is our first trip to US. We will be there Wed June 27th.

Thanks

There is an area by Mel's Drive In that juts out into the water. That's a great place to stand we discovered. That area does get really crowded.

We got there 25 minutes before and found spots pretty easy but you may want to scope it out a bit earlier than that since it'll be more crowded when you go.

How wet are the splash zones for that show? Are those areas closer to the show, or farther away and not worth it?

If you go down past Mel's, there is a parklike area next to the water with some big rocks along the paths. We sat on the second row of rocks farthest from the water and had a good view of everything. You can stand in front of the rocks next to the water too, but I think that was a splash zone. BTW, I wish they would turn off the lights in Richters during the show. It was across the lagoon from us and although it was closed, its bright inside lights distracted from the show, I thought.

It's not really wet at all (the splash zones), unless it is windy/breezy, then whatever side is into the wind will get somewhat wet.

Another good place to view it from is from the back deck of Lombard's Landing, walk like you are going into the restaurant and before the door go down the stairs to the right.
