Where to sit?

When we were in WDW we ate a late dinner in Tomorrowland and were able to watch the fireworks from our table afterwards. Just wondering if there is anywhere in DL we can do the same?

What about Fantasmic? I know there is preferred seating, but I think that's a bit out of our budget.

Thanks in advance!:flower3:

Pinocchio Haus has an outdoor patio where you can sit and watch fireworks until people stand outside the patio and block your view. I used to love to get food in the park then waddle over to Small World and have me dinner during the fireworks. Most restaurants are closed or have obscured or blocked views. Tomrrowland Terrace as a view but the mountain is in the way a bit. Pizza Port has outdoors seating but again there is the wide rumps in your way if people stop to watch and it is not that great of a view.

hmmm...it's sounding like this isn't really an option. Bummer! See you all on Main Street!

As far as Fantasmic goes, I think you could eat at RiverBelle Terrace and should be able to see some of it? Probably not the best view, but I want to try this sometime.

One of our favorite places to SIT and watch the fireworks is at the Plaza Inn on the upper patio close to the building. Go near the Tomorrowland side, we got some pretty decent views the last couple of visits. Sit next to the railing though, the overhang can block some view. But for our old, tired feet, being able to SIT was such a huge bonus and we didn't have to wait for hours.

We have also been fortunate to get a table at Riverbelle for Fantasmic. We sat about 3/4 the way up away from the river towards the building. This was ok, as they keep the walk way open. It was a pretty darn good view for not having to camp out on the pavement for hours. We got there about 15-20 min before show time.

We ate at Riverbelle terrace about an hour before fantasmic, and tables were hard to get outside, but once you got one, you could stretch your time. they did have CM's limiting seating and access only to restaurant patrons (you had to eat there to sit there).

So except for the priority($$$) seating for F! is it just blacktop that you sit on?

Yes, it's just the ground. I really don't suggest trying to see well from RBT but you could see some of it. We tend to go behind the huge light arrays that are by CO, sort of behind where eveyrone else sits, unless it's super busy you can wait there and then the light will go up before F! starts.

For the fireworks, we just find someplace on MS or we sit over in the plaza type area by Small World, if we want to eat we just bring our snacks with us and eat there on the ground. There is a display done on SW so it's neat to watch it from there.
