Where to sit for Spectro and Illuminations?

Ok, need to plan where to sit for Spectro and Illuminations. We'll have DDs aged 4 and 1.5, so for Spectro will be the earlier parade if there are 2. With DD4, we will definitely need a bathroom at some point, so we'll need to be near one of those. Need to be able to see well from their stroller as well. And, for Illuminations, we'll be leaving thru the International Gateway. Any suggestions for either?

I don't know about Spectro because we've always gone during non crowded times of year so securing a spot was never an issue.

Illuminations is pretty much viewable at any point around the water. We have seen if from Mexico which was nice, but my suggestion to you since you are exiting for the IG is to maybe try and view from the United Kingdom. On our last trip we secured a nice spot right by the disabled viewing section just outside of the ropes.

Have fun!

For Spectro I always sit in front of the barber shop on Main Street. It's right at the beginning of the parade. Plus there are bathrooms right across the "street" for you if you need them. Also, I was always able to get my seat there about 40 minutes before parade time.

For Spectro we like to sit in front of Liberty Tree Tavern. There is a restroom about 2 buildings down from there, in a path that connects Frontierland to Adventureland. When you are setting up, look down on the pavement for the little circles...that's where they put the posts for the rope. Make sure you are sitting close enough to the rope so the kids can see. There are benches across the way you could sit on, but once they rope off for the parade, I don't think they let you go back across the road to the restrooms.

This isn't the greatest location for getting out of the park fast, however, but you will not be getting out of the park fast in any case. It is less crowded the further you get behind the castle, so, although you walk further after the parade, the crowd has thinned out considerably by the time you get to Main Street. With the kids in strollers, the distance shouldn't be much of a factor.

We've seen Spectro twice and were in this area both times. Once we sat on the fence near the path between Frontierland & Adventureland (and near the bathrooms and Dole Whips at Aloha Isle! HA). Once we stood on the rock wall across from Liberty Tree Tavern. Both provided great views.

We always sit in Frontier Land at the little shop that does wood carving they have rocking chairs that you can sit on. Their porch is elevated and have no problem seeing the parade, plus it is not very crowded in this area and the bathroom that connect Frontier Land and Adventure land is near. Linda

For Spectro...on the porch in front of Tony's.

For IllumiNations...between France and Morocco there is a path that runs off that main drag and goes alongside the water. It's a little bit secluded so not as crowded. A lot of people also stand on the bridge between France and England, but again, a lot of people do that, so it tends ot be crowded. I hear that the deck at the hibachi restaurant in Japan is a good spot too
