I'm leaning towards having orange and fuschia as my colors. I want to keep orange as the primary color of the wedding, but also don't want to spend a lot of money on upgraded table linens, etc....any ideas about where I could put my colors? I was thinking in the flowers, favors, and napkins maybe??

Anybody have any cute ideas on where to add color??

I saw on a wedding show that they used ribbons and put them across the table four going one way and four the other, it was like a runner. So cute and I'm sure really reasonable. You could also use all white linens and have a splash of the other colors. Like one fushia flower sticking out of the napkin. Or make menus up and put them in a white napkin. I love those colors but with simple centerpieces. Like flowers all bunched together in a glass vase.
You could also get small glass votive holders really reasonable in those colors for a splash.

Fuschia and orange are also my colors. Although I think I'll be opposite of you and have the fuschia as the primary color :) Anyways I was thinking that I'm going to bring my color in through the flowers in small centerpieces, with the napkin ribbon ties, and the favors on the table. I'm using fuschia and orange ribbons on my favors. I had also thought about fuschia/orange votives or candles just for another touch of color.

The good thing about such bold colors is that a little goes a long way :) Good luck!

I read your post and thought of this picture that my coordinator sent me to show me the table and location for my dessert party. I love the colors! I think this picture shows yellow, orange, and fuschia as the main colors in the floral, colored gel candles, charger plates, and napkins. I think they look great together, especially with the white linen base:

I know it's sort of a far away picture, but you can see more close ups here:

Then click on "see photos and more." The shots of this wedding set up are photos 5-9.

I love how this looks so much that I'm actually thinking about doing something similar (a bit scaled back though) for my rehearsal dinner/dessert party!

Hope this helps and gives you some ideas!

Thanks for your help everyone! I agree that when using these bold colors, a little goes a long way...hopefully this will save us money!
