Your nearest military installation or at Shades of Green on property. I'm sure any WDW ticket booth or Guest Relations would sell them also.

yes.
If you buy at the military offices or SOG, you pay no tax. If you buy through WDW...you pay tax.

Check your local base's public web site and look for the ITT or MWR outlet -- usually under services or post/base support organization. They'll usually carry attraction tickets.

We don't have a local base. I wasn't sure if we could go to SOG and buy the $138 tickets. On their website they just show a $238 ticket price for 4 days. I would like to not pay the sales tax. Thanks everyone. We will stop at SOG and get the tickets when we get down there.

I thought on the disney site it said 138 for the 4 day ticket, but 27 more for hopping and water park fun..........on the shades of green link from above it says 138 for 4 day and water park fun - so which is correct? So excited about these tickets and possibly a surprise ticket for my DD who has decided to join the Air National Guard! We have been dreading her departure next month, but now due to a scheduling error on the Guard's part, she will not be leaving until after September-then I read about these tickets and Shades of Green!!!! There is a rainbow in every situation!

The price is $138 for a 4-day park-hopper OR a 4-day base ticket with the water parks fun & more option (4 entries to water parks/Disney Quest). (Base ticket means one park per day, no hopping.) OR, you can pay $165 for a 4-day park-hopper WITH the water parks fun & more option.

Another question then:) I know a park hopper allows you to go to 2 different parks in the same day.........can we visit a water park or quest in the same day as a park without the hopper addition? thanks in advance;)

Yes, assuming you have the WPF&M option.

If you have the water parks option, you can go to both, but it will cost two of your "entries." You can't use regular park days to go to water parks or DQ.

If you check this "ticket sticky" especially post #17, it will explain everything you need to know about the military tickets. :)

Hmm, I think they'd only use up one "entry" per water park or DQ. The park entry does not count against the WPF&M entries.

Sorry! I mis-read the question! I thought it said going to a water park and DQ in the same day -- THAT would use up two of the entries. Yes, you can do one regular park and one water-park/DQ in the same day without having the park-hopper option. :goodvibes

This is a "canned" response modified for the Armed Forces Salute 2011/2012 tickets with the assumption you have both the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More (WPF&M) options.

Hopefully this will make it a little clearer. In effect you have two tickets with different privileges on one card. Everything expires at Midnight on Sunday September 30, 2012. Even if you use up all your major park days, the WPF&M entries remain valid until used or 9/30/12. (Note you do not have to use the days consecutively.)

You have four days of access to the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK), and may visit more than one major park on a single day without any extra charges. Without the Park Hopper option you can only go to one major park per day.

You have four entries to the minor parks (BB, DQ, OT, TL, WWS). These may or may not be used on the same days as you go to the major parks. However, if you went to TL in the morning, Oak Trail in the afternoon, and Disney Quest in the evening of one day you would have used three of the four entries. (Note that leaving and returning to the same minor park on the same day does not use an extra entry.)

If you go to minor parks only on one day and do not go to a major park you do not use up one of your major park days.

If you were to go to a Water Park in the morning and then one of the major parks for the remainder of the day you would have used one minor park entry and one day of major park entry.

Note that with the ticket unless you have the hopper option you can only go to one major park per day. Unless you have the WPF&M option you cannot go to a minor park without upgrading or purchasing a separate ticket.
