Where to park???

We are driving to WDW next month. On our last day at MK we have reservations for the Luau at the Poly. We'll be bringing extra clothing to change into and was wondering if it would be better for us to go back to our car in the parking lot of MK and then drive to the Poly (since we'll have an extra backpack with clothes) or to just take a monorail to the Poly from MK?

I'd probably drive to the Polynesian from T&T just to lessen
the time getting "home" after the luau. Are you planning to
return to the MK that night?

Shortbun--I doubt we'll return to MK that night. Our reservations are for the 5:15pm Luau and MK closes at 7pm, so I think we'll just return to the house we rented. I figured it would be easier to just get our car and go to the hotel, but just wanted to make sure.
