The valet attendants will park your car for free for the time it takes you to check-in. When we were there last month, they just parked our car in one of the few spots near the entrance so they didn't need to retrieve the car for me, I just walked over to it and then moved it to the garage.

When we arrived, we had done online check-in so there was a person stationed out front that gave us everything we needed. We had a unique situation and had to go to the desk anyway, but most people would not need to if completing online check-in. So, we just pulled the car over and didn't need to park it.

That said, I seem to remember not needing the key to enter the parking garage. You insert the key as you exit, I believe. If you are staying on a points reservation, you will not be charged for parking.

We were just there last month and definitely needed our room key to both enter and exit the garage.

You can pull a ticket from the ticket machine to get into garage. I’ve done it many times when I forgot to get my key card out. Then just use key card to exit.

This - your first time into the garage just grab a regular ticket. The front desk will give you a piece of paper to put on the dash.

Later you will use a room a room key to exit/enter.

Thanks for clarifying. I must have pulled a ticket the first time and that's what I was remembering.
