For our trip next year we are getting the dining plan for 7 nights. I was thinking:

Sci-Fi
Coral Reef
CRT
'Ohana
Chef Mickey's

What are thoughts on these places and which other one would you add? Atmosphere seems to be more important than food unless the food is really bad. DD will be barely 6, in love with all things princess. DS will be almost 11 and who knows what phase he will be in...

I've done them all but coral reef. You can't go wrong with any of htem. Sci fi is an awesome place to be in the middle of a scorching hot day. It's dark and cool. If you are with a family, though, the seating may be weird.
you have to do CRT with your DD. She'll love it. Dress her up in a gown is my suggestion. A lot of the girls seem to dress up to go there.
Chef Mickey's is pretty awesom for everyone and its really fun with families. I suggest going there for bfast.
ohana has a great character bfast. the dinner does have some "different" foods. I was afraid I wouldn't like any of it, but it was really good. If you like meat, it is a great place to go. the salad I had there was fantastic too. I guess they have changed their menu though so someone else may be able to comment better on their current selection.
hth!

oh! Ohana does some neat things to get the kids up and moving. little games and dances. The kids I saw seemed to love it!

Lala, I see you've selected Coral Reef for Epcot - depending on where you're staying and how much time you plan to spend at Epcot, I'd consider adding one of the World Showcase eateries. Not sure what your tastes are, but some with interesting atmosphere are: San Angel with the volcano and boat ride, Biergarten with the 'ooohm pah' band, Morocco with the belly dancer, and Italy with the singing waiters.

Ohana is a must for everyone of our trips. We love the character breakfast and the dinner is great as well. Chef Mickey's has a great atmosphere but I'm not too crazy for the food. we tend to go there simply because Disney sister loves it. oh well....to each it's own, right? :) I would add 1900 Park Fare to your list and WCC at the WL. Both offer great food and a unique dining experience.
