Hi,
Does anyone know of a website to look up reasonable vacation homes???We have two families going so i'm looking for something for eight people[four kids and four adults]....Also can someone explain what a villa is???I thought it was like a condo is that right???
Thanks

Hi Daystar...
There are literally hundreds of sites to rent thousands of homes in the Disney area. They range from 3 bedroom to 7 bedroom homes.
For eight of you a neat 5 or 6 bedroom home with two master suites (private baths) for the adults and 2 or 3 other bedrooms and a bath for the kids would be your best bargain.

You can rent directly from an owner at www.vrbo.com or www.vacationrentals.com or www.greatrentals.com .
Or you can go through one of many companies that rent privately owned homes. Many homes are on both of these sites and are rented by both the owner and the management company
www.villadirect.com is an example of a company that rents privately owned homes for the owners.

A "villa" is European for "home." A condo is a condo.

The homes come furnished from bare bones Florida pink and flowery with double beds and single beds to very high end homes with king beds, TV in all bedrooms, DVDs, game rooms and heated pools with hot tub.
If this is a special trip and you can split about $200/night total cost with tax and pool heat in the winter, try the sites above and have fun shopping.
If you want super cheap search yahoo for "homes for rent orlando" or disneyworld rental homes...you will get many hits and pick the price you want.
Remember, you get what you pay for!
The sites above will allow you to see the home you are renting with lots of pictures and even virtual tours.
Once you have looked around let us know if we can be of further help

You provide so much great information!:)

daystar, another website that we really enjoyed was www.orlandovillas.com It's laid out really well, and lots of great pics of the villas.

It's fun just looking at all the beautiful properties!!:)

Happy planning!!

MBB,
Which Neil Diamong lyrics traumatized you as a child???

I am an old 60's liberal type and he was my guru for a long time...

I loved "Craklin Rosie" for 10 years before I knew it was about wine!!!!!!

Take Care

...goin' on an OT stroll...

Love my tags, TF!!:)

My mom and her sisters were not able to get together much in the years when they had little ones...but when they did, Neil was ALWAYS part of the festivities....

...that and many bottles of "candle wine"...you know, the ones that when empty, people would use as candle stick holders...?:)

Anyway, when the four of them were together, it was always fun to get the next generation involved "Pass the We LOVE Neil Diamond Torch" as it were:)

Picture the four women, groovin' in the living room, and in the middle... a smiling, thrilled- to- be -singing along:), 8 year old in pig-tails!!...

...that would be me:)

Anyway, Delswife had written a trip report titled "Where it Began"...and what did I hear in MY head....you guessed it...;)

Tag Fairy thought that kind of fan devotion should be rewarded:)

Neil, if you're reading, we'd LOVE tickets!!

Two of mom's sisters are now gone...
We have wonderful memories of family, laughter, and song....
And no road trip is quite right for my kids without a little shiloh;)

Hope that - and some Cracklin' Rosie - would make you smile..!!
