where to keep the clamshell

We are driving down to Disney and will have to put a clamshell on top of our vehicle. When we get to BCV, is there a place to put the empty clamshell? Will the valet's store it for us? Is there a charge? We can't keep it on top because it will be empty and the instructions state not to drive over 40mph with an empty clamshell on top of the vehicle. we will be transporting family to and from the airport so we will have to be driving over 40 at times.

When you transport the family, wont you have luggage to put in the clamshell?

no not to the airport. Myself, DH, DS, DD and mother are driving down. the next day we will pick up my father. (not enough luggage to put in the shell). The day after that he will go to the airport, (nothing to put in the clamshell,) to pick up my sister and her husband. Again, not enough luggage. So really the only time it is needed is to get the 5 of us down there and the 5 of us back home, we would love to store it for the week. Any thoughts????

I can't think of anywhere that you would be able to store it (maybe with Bell Services?) - you can certainly ask Valet when you park, though.

The one thing I can think of would be, if you plan to unpack, put the empty suitcases back into it. That way the clamshell won't be empty if you leave it on the car, and you won't have to find someplace to store the suitcases in the room.

Otherwise, you may need to find somewhere in the room for the clamshell. We were in a BCV 1-bedroom in March and the walk-in closet in the Master wasn't terribly large, When we were at VWL a couple of years ago the master closet was plenty large for something like that but the BCV closets are smaller (I think it has to do with the slight differences in room layout).

You know, I would actually suggest calling/emailing Member Services or the Beach Club desk and ask before you go. If it were me, I'd rather know for sure before I got there.
