where to have dinner and see Wishes?

We are going to WDW first of Feb. for our daughters dance competion. Where would be a good place for 10 adults to have dinner and see or have time to travel to MK to see Wishes on Friday 2/2/07? Thanks

What type of meal would you like to have? What kind of selection are you looking for? Dinner at any of the MK resorts would easily leave you plenty of time to get to the MK in time. 'Ohana is wonderful if you are interested in their menu.

Fried Wontons served with peanut sauce, chimichurri sauce and harissa
Mixed greens with a honey-lime dressing

Appetizers

Spicy-sweet and sour shrimp
Honey-coriander chicken wings

Skewers
Prepared over an oak fire


Marinated Sirloin Steak
Asian Barbecue Pork Loin
Mesquite Grilled Turkey
Hawaiian Pork-sausage with pineapple terriyaki glaze

'Ohana bread pudding a la mode with Bananas Foster Sauce

The Concourse steakhouse in the Contemporary resort is also a good option!

Thanks for the suggestions. Can you view and hear Wishes from Ohana or the Steakhouse? Or should we plan on going to MK for the best effect?

Ohana @ the Poly you can't hear wishes but if I remember correctly if you go out to the beach you can and you can also see the water parade. Try the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street. See there menu on allearsnet.com.

At 'Ohana they do pipe in the music that goes along with Wishes but you can't hear the fireworks actually going off.
