Where to go, what to do

My dh and I are taking our boys, ages 4 & 2 to WDW in May. This is our 2nd trip and we are wondering how we can arrange it so that we will have the most fun and best dining experiences that we possibly can in only 4 days.

We're doing the DDP and we are hoping to eat at these 4 restaurants.
1.) O'Hana @ Poly
2.) Teppanyaki @ Epcot
3.) Concourse Steakhouse @ Contemporary
4.) Coral Reef @ Epcot

My question is this: How do I make it work? We arrive at CSR noon Monday. I was hoping to catch Spectromagic, Illumintations, The Lion King show, Turle talk with Crush in the Land..but I just can't make up a plan. Everytime I think I have it worked out, it just doesn't flow.

Please offer me some suggestions for arranging my meals and catching the fun stuff. I hope this isn't too much to ask. ANY suggestions, even if it is to catch a better meal or show, ect..please feel free to say.

Thanks for your time, Ann

Well... You arrive at CSR at noon.. get checked in, get an early dinner at concourse steakhouse, then finish in time to get out to the MK and catch Spectromagic. Next day hit Epcot, go straight to turtle talk, hit coral reef for lunch, check out epcot stuff, hit teppanyaki for dinner then catch illuminations. Day 3 hit AK for Festival of the Lion King... also if you didn't want to do coral reef for lunch then you could head over to epcot after you are done with AK (since it closes earlier than other parks usually) and hit coral reef for dinner and then catch illuminations... last day you can end with dinner at ohana. :confused3

Concourse that evening for dinner...catch the monorail to MK for Spectromagic (if it is going on that night...be sure to check the park calendar). If you catch an early dinner as earlier suggested, it would give you time to do some of your favorites at MK before the parade starts.

The next day I would start out early at AK, get a schedule for the Lion King and spend a half day there hitting Tusker House for lunch. I haven't heard great things about Teppanaki, but have not eaten there myself. I've also heard that the Coral Reef lunch is inferior to their dinner. I have eaten dinner there and it was great. So I'd head to Epcot after lunch and hit Turtle Talk and the new Nemo ride which you may need to get a FP for as soon as you get there. If you'd rather eat lunch at Epcot, I'd recommend Sunshine Seasons in the land. It was the best counter service we had.
Then with a normal time dinner reservation 5:30 or 6:00 at Coral Reef you should be out in plenty of time to see Illuminations.

The final day you could spend at MK where you have to hit Philharmagic and all of Fantasyland, parts of Tommorowland and Adventureland and all of Toontown since you're with little ones. If you time your reservation right that evening at O'hana's you might be able to catch Wishes from the restaurant which you can get to by monorail.

That's what I would do, but I hope it at least helps!

Before I give my suggestion, I see that you say your going to be there 4 days and I wanted to make sure you know that you get table service meals per night of stay, not per day so if your staying 3 nights, you only get 3 sit down meals, not 4.

This is what I'd do:
Arrive at CSR at noon on Monday. Go to Epcot. See turtle talk. Go to dinner at Teppanyaki, watch illuminations.
Tuesday: Go to AK. See the lion king show while there. After AK, go to dinner at Concourse steakhouse.
Wednesday: MK. Get an early ADR at Ohana. (maybe 5:30) Go back to see spectromagic after dinner.
Thursday: Finish off Epcot. Have lunch at Coral Reef.

Possible problems with this:(1) If you want to spend more time in MK, it may be difficult.
(2) There isn't any MGM day. If you happen to have Park hopper, you can go to MGM after your lunch at Coral Reef on the last day, but if your leaving you may not get the chance. Instead you may wish to switch a meal at epcot and go to MGM instead on the last day and just eat there.
(3) There isn't much time for rest and relaxation since its only 4 days.
I hope this helps.

Tikigodess, I don't believe FP is offered at The living Seas. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Thanks for the great tips.
BTW: I am aware of only having 3 TS, 3 CS
I looked at the schedule and I believe we have to go to MK on Day 1 (mon)
that is the only day that Spectro is going on while we are there.

So with all your help I think this is how it may go...

Day1 Arrive at CSR
(CS) Pepper Market
(TS)Concourse Steakhouse 6:20
catch monorail to MK for Spectro and Wishes

Day2 Animal Kingdom
(CS) Tusker House
Lion King show
back to CSR
go to EPCOT in p.m.
(TS) Coral Reef at 6:20
Illuminations

Day3 MGM
(CS) Toy Story Pizza Planet
(TS) O'hana (late dinner)

Day 4 check out
EPCOT
pay oop --Sunshine Seasons
Leave in p.m.

How does this sound? Please feel free to offer up restaurants or any other type of suggestions.

TIA, Ann

we just got back from a trip with our 4 year old and 2 year old twins. My biggest concern would be your dinner times. are your kids used to eating late? the reason I ask is that my kids are used to eating at 5pm sharp, if anything they want dinner a few minutes earlier, not usually later. by 6:20 they would have been overhungry, and likely very cranky. obviously this is not an issue if your kids are used to a later dinner time. while at wdw we kept our adrs at 5pm and it worked great.

Hmmm.. That is a good point. I will definately think about that (my dinner times). Thank you.
