Where are the best places do go shopping. I plan on going to the Mall at Millenia. How is that one. Thanks

Mall at Milenia is gorgeous! It's huge, it's brand spankin' new, and it's about as elegant as a mall can be. That said, it's also mostly stores you'll find near home, but some of the restaurants are definitely worth the drive over. Beautiful place, easily worth a few hours time.

Premium Outlets is very nice, too. Lots of designer brands in a bright, cheerful atmosphere. There's a food court, and if you can get ahold of their coupon book there are some very good deals to be had.

Florida Mall is another option, not as upscale and trendy but with enough to recommend it as a possibility.

Belz is not my cup of tea, though it is hugely popular.

Festival Bay is another choice, though I'm not sure it's filled yet. When (if) it is, it will be a very nice shopping venue, with some unusual stores that you won't find just anywhere. Maybe worth a stop in as you're out and about. Ron Jons and a huge outdoor center are their anchors so far.

Enjoy! There are lots of great shopping options in the Orlando area!

I have mentioned this before but, if you go to Premium and have a triple A card go to the info booth in the food court and get the additional discount booklet(pamphlet) it is good for at least 10% more off in the stores. IF you have Premium outlet mall near where you live (it is a whole chain) you might not bother to go since most of the stores are all the same.

My son and I went to the Mall at Millenia when we were at RPR in July. We thought it was great. It was a short drive from the Universal area. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory - need I say more???!!!

It was a great way to escape from the heat and humidity of July in Florida.

We try to get a little old-florida flavor by checking out some gift shops etc. What's the name of that road near WDW, Hwy. 192? It has a Publix near the cheapest gas, Racetrak, and the best of all the many Nike outlets. Further down the strip is a gift shop shaped like a giant orange across the street from a Cracker Barrel.

Mike, you'll definitely enjoy checking out all the shops on those roads, not just the malls. There is one coupon in those ubiquitous traveller's coupon books for Shell World and museum, for instance, that is out on another road near Kissimee if I recall. I got a big kick out of seeing their museum and shell-encrusted car out front, not to mention the shell shop.

Cheers :)
