Where to go for the best steak

I want to take my husband to get a great steak while in Disney. We have the dining plan. I have thought about Yachtman's and Shula's (not on dining plan right). We have never been to either of these due to 2 dining credits or the out of pocket expense. What are your thoughts on the best place to go? Throw another restaurant at me if you know of a better one. Our 3 kids will be with us as well and my 11yr old son eats as much as my husband. This will probably be our most expensive dinner on our trip :)

For a truly great Steakhouse experience Shula's at the WDW Dolphin cannot be beat. It i s not part of the DDP, but does take TIW. We used to think the Yachtmen's Steakhouse was great and then we discovered Shula's and have never looked back.

My favorite steak place is Shula's. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. I've eaten at Yachtsman twice now. The first time, I asked for my steak med rare, the woman next to me asked for well done. The meals started coming out, mine was last. It was well done, as was the woman's next to me. The server stopped by quite a bit later..not sure where he went to, but we never saw him for almost 10 mins. He had asked everyone how their meals were, but since mine hadn't been brought out yet, I was never asked. By the time he returned to our table, and I told him the steak was way overcooked, everyone else was almost done eating! He said he would get me a new steak...um, no. I didn't want my meal as others were eating dessert. So, I ate what I could.
The second time, our server was very chatty and friendly. But...that attitude changed when it became obvious we weren't 'drinking'!! He seldom came to the table, our waters/sodas were never refilled. He returned with dessert menus, and a huge attitude! It was mind boggling. He literally dropped the menu and walked away. I am going back for a last try in two weeks. We shall see what happens.
Shula's has been wonderful...every single time. I've also had good steak at the Wave! And at LeCellier. I'll have to give the Bull and Bear a try.

Yachtsman is delicious and I'm looking forward to my dinner there in a couple of weeks! That said, Artist Point is another stellar choice; I've always experienced both exceptional food and service there.

I had filet mignon at Artist Point. I want impressed. Possibly my fault. I had a steak a couple nights prior and ordered medium well. It was way more pink than I expected, so at Artist Point I ordered well done :( It was a bit dry

Ahhh...see, I like my steaks cooked very rare and both restaurants have always delivered. :)

I've had good filets at Brown Derby, California Grill, and Chefs de France (although I usually go for the braised short ribs there). I was also very pleasantly surprised by the strip steak I had for lunch at Rose & Crown last September. It was very tender and flavorful, and I really liked the sauce (I'm usually a sauce on the side person, but I forgot to ask for it that way)

We just finished having dinner at Shula'a. The steak was amazing! It was so tender I almost didn't have to chew it, practically melts in your mouth. There were 4 of us and we each had a different cut and each one was phemomenal. DH and I seek out quality steakhouses in every city we travel to and this one was to notch.
