Hi, my DBF & I have been looking at gettin married at sea Breeze Point in 2010 :thumbsup2

I have never stayed on Disney property before & I'm a little confused about how the day would pan out. We would like to have a morning wedding and then go to a nice restaurant for lunch, does anyone have any recommendations? If you have the limo does this take you to your chosen restaurant or are you best off going with one you can walk to?

Sorry if it's a silly question, its just hard to figure out if you don't know Disney too well!

TIA ladies :flower3:

I think the escape weddings have the limo included, and I believe they will take you to whatever restaurant you want. Escape brides can correct me on that though.

I know that the most (if not all) signature restaurants don't open until 5:00 p.m., so those would be out. There are a lot of people that go to Grand Floridian Cafe, and a few that go to 1900 Park Faire. A couple of people have opted for Downtown Disney to Raglan Road, Portobellos, and Fultons.

Places like Le Cellier, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Coral Reef would be nice; but you are not allowed to wear your dress inside of the parks.

Hi, thanks for your suggestions. I'm just totally clueless on where everything is situated at Disney! :rotfl:

I guess I'll check out the Grand Floridian Cafe :thumbsup2

Thanks again

Another one here for Fulton's. We'll get married at noon, and have ADR for Fulton's about 2:30.

Eww do not go to GFC. Trust me especially for lunch.

I went there because it was pretty...wish I didn't. if you don't care about the looks of the restaurant I would go with somewhere on the boardwalk or you know what if I could do it over I would go to Ohanas or Kona. They are that dang good.

We're having a 12:00 ceremony at SBP, drinks at the Tambu Lounge from 2-5 (on us!! :rotfl2:) and then dinner at 'Ohana at 5:00. :thumbsup2

Lynn, I think the only thing open on the Boardwalk at lunch is ESPN and the brew pub(can't remember the name, ate there at MLK, empty for lunch not bad).

We ate lunch at GFC on our Thanksgiving trip(Black Friday, we had a late flight home and the kids wanted to check out the GF, thanks to Samantha Brown ). Slooooooow service.

You might look at the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin. They are in the Boardwalk area. The Dolphin has a very nice buffet at Fresh. I think there's a private room available there too.

I think Spoodles (on the boardwalk) is open for lunch. I've never been, but it looks really nice and the menu sounds good.

As Starr mentioned, Big River Grille and Brewing Works is another option, although it wouldn't be my first choice. DF and I weren't too impressed when we had dinner there.

I think you would have no problem using the Escape limo to take you to lunch. It was an option for me, but we're using it as transport to our dessert party.

Also, Portobello at Downtown sounds good, and I know I've read about brides on here having lunch there.
