Where to go for breakfast?

Is there anywhere you can go for breakfast without an ADR? With kids aged 17,13 and 11 they are not interested in the character breakfasts and I know some mornings they probably won't feel like getting up too early. What if 1 morning we just felt like going out for a big breakfast could we get in anywhere? I know last time when we stayed off property we went to the Golden Corral. This time we are at BWV. Any suggestions?

I've been to Kona Cafe a few times for breakfast - we are usually early (ADR times between 7.30 and 8.30am) and there have always been plenty of spare tables. I can't imagine it gets completely full.

For a sit down breakfast in the BW area you may be able to get in one of the buffet breakfasts without an ADR (depending on the time & crowd level of course). Both the BW and YC have them.

The BW also has a continental breakfast set-up in the bar on the hotel side of the lobby and of course you can get counter service breakfast at the bakery.

Fresh in the Dolphin has a wonderful breakfast! As of last May, they didn't take reservations; I don't know if their policy has changed. If you're in BWV as a DVC member, one of the member perks is a 20% discount there.

Since you are at BWV....

On your Epcot Day - you can walk to Epcot...to Sunshine Seasons / The Land and some Breakfast options are available.....

The Beach Club Marketplace has a few options available....

Boardwalk bakery or Kouzzina?

We REALLY like eating in our room....I bring Oatmeal, Grits, Cereal, Cereal bars, granola, muffins, etc. etc....there is another post on this right now....But I really find it saves time...

While one kid is in the bathroom getting ready the others are eating...so we are all fed and out the door...no cranky kids...and save CS/TS meals for lunch & Dinner...

I would recommend Kona as well and also The Wave. We were able to walk up to both in June.

I've heard a lot of good things about Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD for breakfast. It's counter service, so no worries about an ADR.
