Hi everyone,
My best friend and I are leaving our kids and husbands behind for a girls trip to Disney. We decided to take this trip to celebrate turning 35 this year  . My friends Birthday is a week before we leave, but I would like to surprise her with a Birthday dinner while on our trip. I have our ADRs booked, but was wondering if any of the places we will be going have something special they do for Birthdays. So my question is, out of the following, which would you pick for celebrating a Birthday?

Dinner at Boma
Hoop Dee Doo
Teppan Edo dinner
Yak and Yeti Dinner
Thanks in advance for all your help!

Out of your choices, I've only eaten at Boma (which is good food). I don't know if they do anything there. I think Hoop-De-Doo would be a fun place to celebrate. Again, I don't know if there's anything special done there and it's a set menu. At Boma you can have a birthday cake ordered and brought to your table for dessert. At the AKL they do zebra cakes.

I'm celebrating my 30th at WDW this year. I'm having my b-day dinner at the House of Blues followed with Circ du Soleil.

The zebra cake sounds cool! Your birthday plans sound awesome. Thanks for the idea!

my best friend and I went to celebrate both our birthdays in 2007. It was also her first trip to WDW.
We had the most fantastic time.....if they know it is your birthday, everywhere did something.
Boma brought fried Oreos and a birthday cupcake.
Every sit down restaurant brought a dessert.....we even got dessert at Casey's.
It was indeed a magical trip.
But, the best place was the tea at GF....they gave us cupcakes, tiaras and roses and sang to us :cake:
Have a great time!!

I had my bday dinner at Boma last year and they brought me a decorated plate of chocolates and cookies. It was a great surprise and a change from the normal cupcake. Have fun! :goodvibes

My best friend and I went Dec 2007 to celebrate my 36th birthday and we had my birthday dinner at Akershus with the princesses and had a blast. The cheif came out and talked to us for a long time and we laughed and giggled the whole time. It was great.

Thanks for all of the great info! I think maybe I'll call for Boma. I like the idea of the cookies!
