? Where to get tickets 1st day @ MK before opening

I am trying to plan a trip to WDW for April 6-9. Our normal way of taking our trip is to drive down the night before arriving very late, stay offsite, then check in at around 7am on the start of our trip and go to the park for opening, MK this time. I just remembered a big to do about not being able to buy tickets on the MK side of the lagoon, only at the TTC, but Disney transportation will take us straight to MK. Previously we either already had our tickets or started at a different park.

Is my memory faulty and we can buy tickets on the MK side? If we cannot do that does anyone have any other suggestions about how to get tickets and possibly an AP activated before the 9am opening?

I think I'm reading your note correctly, and if I am, you can just buy your park tickets at the WDW resort when you check in at 7:AM.

Okay, thanks for the info. I did not think you could buy them there either. Has it always been that way or just since MYW passes?

I've always seen the info sheet with park ticket prices at the front desk of any resort I've checked into, so I think you can buy them there. Not sure about the AP, though, you still might have to do that at the park.

You've always been able to buy tickets at the front desk. The only thing they don't sell is Annual Passes.

Yes, we've always bought hoppers, ultra hoppers, unlimited magic passes, and whatever else they've come up with at the front desk. Everything, as SnackyStacky (love that name) said except APs!

Does anyone know why the cannot also sell AP's at the front desk. With MYW passes don't they now need all the same info as an AP? What is the difference?
