Where to get the lanyards with the pouches to hold KTTW card?

Hi, we are almost packed for the May 18 Magic! I have read several posts about the lanyards with the pouches to hold the KTTW cards. Where do you get them? Please help soon, we leave in 3 days!

They do sell them for $6.00 each in the Disney Store on the ship. They are nice holders with the DCL lanyard to go around your neck. If not, any office supply store has badge holders you can buy a package of them. My kids like to use their Brine or Hilfiger lanyards with the clip on the end and the KTTW card in the plastic badge holder. But the ship is a good place to get them if you can't find any.

We bought ours in the Mickey Mates gift shop on board ship. We also have used them at WDW to hold our KTTW cards during trips on shore, too!

I have read on this board that fishing license holders which are sold at Wal Mart work well to keep your KTTW card

I heard that someone was swimming with their lanyard on and the card slipped out. What we did was take a small hole punch with us, then puched a hole in the card and attached it there instead. No way it can come out of the plastic pouch then.

FWIW - The fishing license holders at my Walmart had a big safety pin on them and not a zip loc baggie style close. DH insisted it would work andit didn't. It could only hold two cards max and once it got wet, the cards were stuck pretty tightly against the plastic of the holder. I opted to buy a package of fishing hooks that were on clearance for $0.90 that came in a nice holder. Dumped out the hooks and I had a great holder that could hold all our KTTW cards and IDs for shore excursions.

I thought about using a hole punch as well. I am nervous that it might ruin the card. I figured if you did the punch on the opposite corner as the magnetic strip it would be OK. You didnt have any problems using it after you did the hole punch? We will be at the World before the cruise using our KTTW card for admission media and fastpasses.
I only have 31 days to prepare now!

REI store or REI.com--three holders per pack for $3 including large safety pins. The holder has a ziploc top closure with a hole already punched to attach to a lanyard or use the pin. They also have the lanyards in many colors for $1/each.

FYI--I was at Wal-Mart today looking for these things and was told they don't carry them in their NC stores--the guy told me it's because people who fish in NC are not required to have their licenses visible while they're fishing. He said their same is true in other states with the same requriements. You may want to ask an employee if they carry them before you go crazy looking around the store.
