Just go to the customer service desk at your local grocery store (Publix, Piggly Wiggly, Randallas, Safeway, Tom Thumb, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Vans, etc)
That's ridiculous because if you want to withdraw $12.53 or if you are cashing a check for $289.87 (or whatever random amount) they have to have coins available to give you the money you are cashing or withdrawing.
I think they have a set amount to start the day with and that's it, like a statistical average of how much coin they give out. So while they might be able to give 4 quarters for a dollar at the beginning of the day, they definitely won't be able to give you a roll of quarters at the end of the day. I think the banks that are located on streets with parking meters usually have more coins available and haven't switched to coinless yet. Heck even the laundromat I used to go to didn't take coins, you loaded all your money onto a pay card and paid that way...
I agree that it's ridiculous, but it's getting much more common. There is not one bank in our small town that accepts or sells rolled change anymore. The ones without counting machines really don't want it all all, but I made them count my gallon jug by hand and give me paper bills. Money is money. Crazy.
I think this is because Coin Star has cornered the market in coin handling and banks are more then happy to buy their coins from them versus them having to count and deal with them. Coins are dirty and heavy.
I never get cash but Amazon Gift Cards. I also think you can get Disney Gift cards.
I keep a small jar in my laundry room and one also on top of our refrigerator. When I find coins in the pockets of clothes or when my husband gets home from work and has coins in his pockets... they all go into these jars. So we always have coins if we need them. I'm not sure when your trip is scheduled but maybe this will give you an idea how to collect year round and you will have them for your next trip!

If the bank uses an ECR (cash recycler) then the machine would spit out the bills and the coins requested. However, the teller wouldn't have access to rolled coin - all of the coins are loose in the machine.
That being said - our bank still has rolls of coins for customers to purchase. Where you will run into problems is if the bank has a smaller vault and doesn't have the storage room (trays and boxes of coins take a lot of room).
I have a Chase account and they have no issues selling me rolls of quarters (or giving me empty rolls so I can roll my quarters-from-grocery-change when I’m not doing an Orlando trip with tolls needed).
