Where to get Mickey manicure before trip?

DD11 suggested we get an inexpensive manicure and pedicure together before our trip. She thinks we can this done for 15 each (no tips or anything). She would like us to get Mickey heads or the like stenciled onto our nails....but I don't know where/how they would do this. I mentioned little nail stickers to her, but I can't find them, and don't know how long they would stay on. Any suggestions? How much do you think it will cost?

My hairdresser just told me about an acrylic overlay. They just put acrylic over your nails...no extension or longer nails. It keeps the polish on until you take it off and keeps your nails from breaking. If you put Mickey's on and put the acrylic over it would stay for the duration of your trip. I'm sure it would cost more than $15 though. If you want to keep it up you do need to get them filled like acrylic nails...but there are no nail tips in this process.

I saw some last summer at Wal-Mart ... don't know if they have them this year. They had MM & Winnie The Pooh.

If you can't get those ... get some black nail polish. Make a big circle for the MM head and two smaller dots for ears. That would look cute, esp. on your big toe when you do a pedicure.

Most manicurists can do simple nail art (like the Mickey head I mentioned above), so maybe you can ask at the place you go to?!!?

I'd just keep putting a clear coat of nailpolish on your nails for longevity. Or, you can get this stuff by O.P.I. called Chip Skip (or something like that) which is supposed to prevent chipping.

Good luck! Or ... maybe you can try a salon that airbrushes and ask them if they have anything?!
