We LOVE Pooh's puffed toast at CP, but can't seem to get an ADR for when we need it.
Who else has awesome french toast?
Couple years back had breakfast at Boatwrights - loved the french toast there, and shame they no longer do breakfast.

Have heard of Tonga Toast at Kona (and would love to finally try out Kona), seen pics and looks delish - BUT, me and daughter (my french-toast crazed partner in crime), would NOT like that banana filling or whatever is in there.
Can they make it without the filling? Anyone ever had it that way?

Any other suggestions?

I stayed at Coronado Springs 2009 & 2010 and must say Pepper Market has a great food selection including French Toast. I also went with my boyfriend last year and he also thought it was delicious! :worship:

I'm excited to try the Grand Floridian Café's maple-vanilla French toast next week. I'll have to bookmark this thread and remember to report back to you.

In addition to Kona, you can also get Tonga Toast at the counter service at the Poly (I forget what it is called - Captain Cooks, maybe?)

I know you aren't interested in the Tonga Toast, but I thought I would mention it for the other French Toast fans.

I have to agree, Coronado Springs has pretty good french toast at the Pepper Market. You can use a CS and get French toast and bacon.. which was my breakfast of choice during our stay.:)

Pepper Market is a great choice. Lots of selections and a nice variety of food (for those who don't want French Toast).

I am a French Toast connisseur. I love it. I could eat it almost every day for breakfast.

The best FT in all of WDW is, hands down, the maple vanilla french toast at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Every trip we must have it, usually on the morning of our last day before we drive back home. It is among the best FT I've had anywhere. I don't think I could love it more.

If you love FT then you owe it to yourself to go to the Grand Floridian Cafe. Ignore anything else anyone else posts.

(And Tonga Toast is NOT French toast. It has toast in it, but it is NOT a French toast.)

We're back now and I tried and loved the maple vanilla French toast at the Grand Floridian Café. Crispy on the outside, spongy in the middle, and decadent all the way through, it was even better than the old "Dixie-style" French toast that many seem to dearly miss from the days when Boatwright's served breakfast. And if any of your party would be interested in such a dish, my boyfriend had the lobster eggs Benedict and loved it so much that he couldn't even bring himself to offer me a bite.

Has anyone had the Banana Bread French Toast at Olivia's? I thought it sounded interesting...

Our favorite French toast (so far) is the Crispy Cornflake french toast at WPE in DTD. I know it sounds weird, and it surely is a heart attack in the making, but it is SO GOOD!!!

The other breakfast items are really good, as well (waffles, breakfast pizza).

Tonga Toast at Kona is very good, but the regular French toast from Kona is also really good.

I love the Cinnamon raisin bread French toast at Whispering Canyon Cafe. A close second is the tonga toast at The POlynesian. I have not tried Grand Floridian Cafe yet, but now that so many have described it I think I will have to add it to my next trip! :thumbsup2

I've had it. It was good, but way, way too rich for me. I won't order it again - until I forget how rich it was.

I have to vote for the Cinnamon Raisin Bread French Toast too. I had it last week for the first time and loved it.

Totally agree with this, just posted a pic on another thread, but here it is if you missed it...
