Where to get "First Visit" pins?

First visit to Disneyland, yay! I know that you can get the pins inside the park, but I was hoping to have them before we enter in. We are staying off property, but could I walk into Grand Californian and ask for one at guest services? Or do they have them at the ticket booth windows?

I know that at the WDW hotels, the concierge/guest services usually has them, so I would assume that is true at DL too. We're hoping to get one for our kids for our upcoming Thanksgiving trip (first to DL for them, but not me)!

I believe the ticket booths have them.

Not sure about resort hotels but any store/shop in DL or DCA will have them. You don't have to go to City Hall.

You might also try one of the Disney-owned stores in DTD (like World of Disney); they might have them.

When i stayed at the GCH we got our buttons from the front desk at check-in. I don't know if they have them available for non-guests though.

We've gotten buttons at WOD. Some CMs have them, too -- look for CMs wearing uniforms with pockets.

Do you get birthday buttons outside the parks in WOD for example as well...?

You probably can; it couldn't hurt to ask. But you can definitely get them inside the parks at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, most shops (ask at the registers), and from some CMs.
