My parents will be joining us for a WDW trip this December, and my mom is a huge fan of iced tea. She can't stand the Nestea they seem to offer all around WDW. Other than sit-down restaurants, are there counter service places or carts that offer brewed iced tea instead of Nestea? My mom would be forever grateful if y'all can help me out. :)

When are you going? I will ask in a few weeks, whenever I think of it, even if I'm not ordering tea. For safety, she might want to bring her own tea bags. Brew hot tea in a little water, then chill it with ice and fill the cup with water. Not the BEST solution, but better than nothing.

If you're talking about southern sweet tea, I don't think you're going to find much. I had heard that Liberty Tree Tavern was serving it for a while but I think that stopped.

I agree, the Nestea stuff is terrible. I have had great tea from the CS and the Tea stand in China. Fresh brewed Mango ice tea at WPE in DTD. Another great tea stand in AK. Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace has killer flavored brewed teas but that place is hardly open. Most of the CS places at the value and mod resorts have fresh brewed regular tea.

Lipton makes a cold brew tea bag that brews right in cold water they are wonderful. I use them at work all the time. They are sold in the local grocery storeright next to the regular tea bags. They sell single use bags and pitcher size.

Being a non soda drinker...and an avid iced tea drinker...I relate to your dilemma...from first hand experience...I can tell you that the Yakitori House in Japan has brewed iced green tea...which looks really green, and like it might be strong, but isn't...even DH said, wow, tastes pretty mild for how it looks.

In DTD, the Wolfgang Puck counter service restaurants...both the one in the Marketplace area and the one on the West Side connected to the Cafe served a fabulous mango flavored nonsweetened iced tea...YUM and in these locations, refills were free.

I did not notice any other brewed iced tea places in my recent visit to the World, which was last week.

I, too, despise Nestea and was disappointed for years that there was no "brewed" iced tea in the world. However, on our last trip, I noticed that even when the sign said Nestea, oftentimes, the tea was brewed. I don't like the flavored or sweetened iced teas so I can't speak for those.

Here is a list of the places that I got a good glass (well, papercup) of brewed, iced tea: Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray's, and Pecos Bills in MK; Sunshine Seasons food court in Epcot; Backlot Express and Rosie's at MGM. I believe the tea was brewed at Pizzafari (not sure on that one!)

Hope this helps!

I use them all the time - both sizes - and love them! I'm addicted to iced tea...with lemon of course!

I will make sure to add those to my list for tea when I need a fix. We drink sweet tea here, matter of fact it is a staple at most restaurants here in Williamsburg, most places here ask if you want it sweet or unsweet. Most drink it sweet.

Since I drink only decaf cola or tea, I quite often use the cold brew tea bags when we travel. In fact, I'm taking 3 boxes of Lipton's with me to WDW. I even plan to use it in our water bottles in the theme parks.

In addition to those already mentioned, you might want to check these out:

The tea is excellent in The Biergarten/Germany in World Showcase in Epcot.

Trail's End also has great sweet tea.

Thanks for the help everyone! I will tell my mom the list of places to get a good cup of tea, plus the info about the cold brew individual serving bags.
