Where to get autograph books...

I've read that autograph books are sold "everywhere" in the world -- but can someone tell me if/where we'll be able to find them between the airport, POFQ, and Chef Mickey's? We won't be going to the park until after dinner at CM, so I wonder if I need to figure something different out (like the postcard in the photo album idea) just in case we don't happen on them. I had hoped our local Disney store might have them but no luck there.

TIA!

I don't know a thing about the books...but I love labradors! I have 7 of them! Your's is adorable!

Thank you -- we have 3 of them! And I am going to miss them desperately on vacation :(

They have a lot of autograph books on ebay. Everything from Mickey to Tinkerbell to
Nemo. The prices aren't bad start at about 2.99 and up.

If you get to the Contemporary Resort (for Chef Mickey's) early, you can find the gift shop for the resort and they will have them there.

Also, they are sure to have them at the POFQ gift shop.

I'll pass along a tip that was given to me years ago on this board. Buy a bunch of colored 8.5 x 11 Cardstock and cut it into 4's. Use a hole punch and punch a hole in the corner. Get one of those circular metal rings to hold them. All the Disney characters can sign a sheet. You can add or remove the sheets as needed. When you get home each sheet is ready to add to the scrapbook.

We do it every year!

We were at POFQ last week and LOVED it. I liked it better then AKL. They have the autograph books right at the registers in the gift shop. It was our first disney purchase when we arrived.

Don't overlook the Sassagoula food court while your there. We had 4 great meals while we were there last week. I had pot roast that tasted exactly like the pot roast I had over at Boatswright for less then half the price. The beignets were really good too.

Send me a note if you have any questions.

ENJOY your trip!!!!!!

Thanks! I am very much looking forward to POFQ and I think we will grab lunch in the food court as soon as we arrive. I am especially looking forward to beignets -- I hope we can get those at lunch maybe for dessert. Yummmm!

DolphinBoy -- thanks for the idea about the cardstock. I was thinking about that if I have time, but I'm not much of a scrapbooker. I have many boxes of things I had planned to eventually scrapbook! I think a nice CD of pictures and two autograph books that I can put in a box together will be nice, LOL! BTW, I see we are from the same home town!!

If you have girls........We bought dd a cute, fuzzy style notebook from Wal-Mart with the Princesses on it. It was about the size of an autograph book and it was adorable. I think we found it somewhere near the school supplies. I couldn't find any books like that appropriate for boys at Wal-Mart, though.

Thanks! By the way, my daughter has the Mickey shirt your daughter is wearing with the top hat! My niece gave it to her but unfortunately it is still too big for this trip :(

Looks like you'll have to plan another trip for when she grows into that shirt.

There is a little stand store on the same floor as Chef Mickey's. They have the autograph books- that's where we got my fiance's neice hers right before breakfast with Mickey

The best part about using card stock is that you can remove the autographs that you already got so they don't get messed up. Plus you don't have to carry them around. Then you can add more blank sheets so that you can get more! It works out great. We are headed back for our 3rd trip in March!

Hi, we usually bring autograph books from home---but now they have some of the same autographs 2-3x. one year we took a disney chapter book and turned to the appropriate stories for a character to sign(if they weren't in the book they signed the inside of the front or back cover) i took a white photo matt the next year and then placed our family picture in the center of all the signatures...The last year we were there i cut out a mickey head from heavy paper stock and got time pieces to make a blank clock with signatures all around /thru it..top said IT"S MICKEY TIME...unfortunately that was stolen out of our double stroller at epcot...and it was never recovered.......but there are a zillion other creative ways to get/save disney signatures.
