Where to get a water bottle carabiner?

I'm going to call this a "strategy" since I'm trying to carry a (very small) water bottle in the parks without lugging a bigger bag.

I know they make the carabiner clips that have a rubber ring on one end that goes around the neck of a standard bottle of water, then the other end can clip through a loop on your bag (or whatever).

Does anyone know where you can find these in a brick-and-mortar store? Sporting Goods chains, Walmart, etc.? I'd like some idea of where to look before I go on a wild goose chase.

While I'm here, does anyone want to recommend a time-stamped notes app for iPhone? I'd like the quickest, easiest way to just jot things like "on bus," "lunch," whatever and be able to go back after the trip and recreate a timeline.

You could also just take a picture -- most phones date/time stamp the photos, and if you have your GPS enabled, will stick your coordinates on it as well. Then you can convert to .kml and upload into Google Earth.

Wal mart and Target have them in the camping section. If you don't mind spending extra $ for a Disney themed one after you arrive most of the gift shops have them and the water/soda kiosks have a lanyard you can wear around your neck with a water bottle holder. A quick search on Amazon turned up several options as well!
