I'm interested in dining at San Angel Inn but would like to see an updated menu; the one on allears is from 04. Does anyone have a link to a newer menu or know if the menu has changed very much? TIA :)

No, that's the Cantina San Angel. The San Angel Inn is different.
(Not sure how to link to it)

We ate there a month ago and the food was wonderful. We are locals and this is a favorite. My favorite dish is a chicken dish with a cheese sauce that is wonderful! Can't remember the name of it but it is listed under entrees on the above site. Good luck! :sunny:

4Disneyfans---Is this the dish you had?

Pollo a las Rajas - Grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onions, chile poblano, chorizo (Mexican sausage) and melted cheese. - $19.50

We have ADR's for San Angel Inn in August and I'm wondering what to order. I *love* cheesy Mexican dishes, not much of a meat eater, but it seems they all have meat. I mean I eat it and like it, but not so much in Mexican food. How cheesy is this?

and it is soooo yummy!!! If you like cheese you will love this. The dish is served in a large bowl/platter. The chicken is actually perfect with this dish! Wow! Now we may have to make a quick run out to EPCOT this weekend. I am craving this dish now!!! :rotfl2:

I'm glad to hear that there are posters out there who like San Angel. We have lunch ADR there in Sept. (and Dinner ADR at LC same day). My mom and I ate there years ago (1998) and I love the atmosphere. I remember that I thought the food was expensive but since we'll be doing DDP cost won't matter! :goodvibes I'm sure my DD6 will like sitting "outside" too!

The DIS menu shows the same for both lunch and dinner. :confused3

The allears menu, although from '04, is more accurate as far as dinner goes.

I just looked at the one on the DIS here and there are some differences...mostly in price LOL but there are some additional entrees and another appetizer on the dinner one.

Thanks for the link to the dis menus-I didn't even know they were there, I always look on allears for the menus! The chicken dish sounds great, any other suggestions?

San Angel "OUT"!!!!!!! (cantina)
Less confusing!!!!!!!!! ;)

Thanks 4Disneyfans! I'll probably order that then!

Is it really pathetic to be planning what I'll order two months from now lol?

I keep telling myself to not plan EVERYTHING and leave something open for spontaneity (sp)!
